Monthly Meetings
We meet every first Saturday of every month at Ninewells Hospital, in
Dundee. These meetings are held on Level 7, Lecture Theatre Promenade Area. Through the Main door, turn left through the Medical
University glass doors, and straight along the corridor, then turn right and we
will be there with a friendly welcome. Our meetings start at 11am and finish at 1pm.
Most people and their families find these meetings to be very beneficial and informative. Not only do they provide various demonstrations
and speakers, but there is also an information table crammed full of leaflets and publications to read through.
Members also have the opportunity to talk to each other about their problems relating
to Fibromyalgia, and as most people know it is a lot easier to talk to someone
who can relate to you and understand how you feel.
The meetings are for sufferers of Fibromyalgia, their family and friends, but
unfortunately, we do not have a crèche or facilities for children.
The kettle is always on for a cuppa and we even have biscuits.
Our meetings are relaxed, friendly, informal and supportive.
There is an entrance fee of £1 per person and there is always a raffle to help raise
funds.
