Hi all, I was diagnosed a few months back after years of agony. I have known about tapfm for a while and will have to make the effort to attend the October meeting at Ninewells, so get the kettle on

Just a note about the forum. The forum is for genuine fibro sufferers and their family and friends it is not a place for spammers, scammers or people trying to sell their products. Genuine profiles only please.

Hello, Im Dawn and have had FM since 2004. I have had no support since then and when I went to the doctors locally they sent me to Ninewells arthritis dept. There they told me to go away as there was nothing they could do for me. The pain is getting worse as it is coming back in a big cycle and even the painkillers are not helping as much. I feel quite alone with this condition so thats why i am writing.

Hello everyone.
I have fibro, it was diagnosed about a year ago after years of suffering unexplained pain; just like everyone else I suspect.
I am working, I live alone so have no option but my symptoms are worsening. I keep going via large doses of painkillers but this can't go on forever. I live 5 floors up and the stairs are killing me.
Any advice please would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
